Meine Anfänge. Mit zehn Jahren wechselte ich zum VfB und verbrachte dort 14 Jahre. Vor allem die Zeit der Jungen Wilden bleibt unvergessen. Der VfB ist meine fußballerische Heimat, hier bin ich Nationalspieler geworden und habe Champions League gespielt. Das Highlight: unser 2:1 über ManU.

My beginnings. At the age of ten I joined VfB Stuttgart and spent 14 years at the club. Stuttgart is where my football roots lie, where I became an international and where I first played in the Champions League. The highlight: Our 2:1 victory over Manchester United.
